Our Story
Welcome to Little Captain Creek Farm in Thurmont, MD, where we, Stephen and Elizabeth Stoltzfus, 4th-generation Amish farmers, are the first in our family to practice regenerative farming. Along with our two young boys, Leroy and Chris, we’re dedicated to improving the land and soil we care for since moving here from Lancaster County, PA, in 2022. Our farm is home to 50 grass-fed milking cows, 6 beef cattle, 300 laying chickens, 15 pigs, 5 mules, and 3 driving horses, all managed with rotational grazing and sustainable practices. We aim to continue building our farm with new infrastructure as we nourish the soil, animals, and community through nutrient-dense, farm-fresh food. We are grateful for our hardworking team and excited to serve our customers through our private buying club.
