Garlic Butter Pan-Seared Chicken Breasts
A simple, flavorful way to bring out the best in farm-fresh chicken breasts. Golden on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and finished with rich garlic butter for a classic, comforting dish that works any night of the week.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  4. Reduce heat and add butter and garlic to the pan. Spoon melted garlic butter over the chicken for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Finish with a squeeze of lemon if desired and let rest before serving.
