Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- Reduce heat and add butter and garlic to the pan. Spoon melted garlic butter over the chicken for 1-2 minutes.
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon if desired and let rest before serving.
