We’re excited to welcome you to the farm as our on-site store officially opens next weekend on May 9th, just in time for a meaningful and family-centered Mother’s Day weekend.

This opening marks a new way to connect with us whether you’re stopping by to pick up your weekly essentials, exploring what’s new, or simply enjoying a slow morning out in the country. It’s also a wonderful chance to bring mom out to the Little Captain Creek for a relaxed visit, or surprise her with something thoughtful and local that comes straight from where it’s made.

To make the weekend feel a little extra special, we’ll have fresh cinnamon buns available starting at 8:00 AM while supplies last. Warm, soft, and made fresh that morning, they’re the perfect treat to enjoy as you start your visit. Alongside them, you’ll also find a selection of sourdough breads and other freshly baked goods, all prepared with care for the occasion.

Beyond the baked goods, the store will be fully stocked with all the farm-fresh products you already know and love from Little Captain Creek Farm, making it easy to grab everything you normally order online, but now right here at the source.

This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a welcoming, convenient space for our community to enjoy fresh food and a closer connection to the farm.

We look forward to seeing you on the 9th and sharing a meaningful start to the season with you and your family.

Farm Store Opening on May 9th

We’re excited to officially open the doors to our farm store on May 9th. We have a simple, welcoming space built for easy, self-serve shopping right where your food is grown.

A Farm Store is Coming Soon

We’ve been working on something new here at the farm, and we’re excited to finally share a little bit about it. We’re in the process of putting together a small, on-farm store.

The Transition from Hay to Fresh Grass

Switching from stored hay to fresh green pasture is one of the most challenging transitions we manage all year in milk production. It’s also one of the most exciting. After months of feeding dry forage through the winter, spring finally brings new grass, longer days, and that first stretch of bright green fields. The cows feel it. We feel it. Everything wakes back up. It’s a reminder of God’s design in creation: renewal, growth, and life coming forth again.
